Biography:

Dr. YAN Tao is an associate professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan University, China. He received dual Ph.D. degrees in computer science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Dec. 2013 and City University of Hong Kong in Feb. 2014. He once worked as a senior research engineer at Baidu Inc.

His research interests focus on compuer vision, light field image processing, image restoration, target detection, deep learning and vision foundation models. He also focuses on AI for Healthcare, AI for industry and video surveillance. He has published more than 40 papers on IEEE TPAMI/TIP/ TCSVT/TCI/TCE/TFS, IJCV, KBS etc.

He has served as a reviewer for IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TCSVT/TMM/TNNLS/TCI/TCE/TVCG/TITS/, IJCV, KBS, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, etc. He is a member of IEEE, CCF, CAAI and CSIG.
