YAN Tao's Biography:

YAN Tao is an associate professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan University, China. He obtained dual Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2013 and the City University of Hong Kong in 2014. He once worked as a senior research engineer at Baidu Map.

His research interests center on computer vision, inluding stereo vision, light field, image restoration, detection, deep learning and vision foundation models. His work extends to AI for healthcare, surveillance and industry. He has authored over 40 papers in premier journals and conferences, including IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TCSVT/TCI/TCE/TFS, IJCV, KBS, AAAI, and Critical Care etc.

He has served as a reviewer for IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TCSVT/TMM/TNNLS/TCI/TCE/TVCG/JSTSP, IJCV, KBS, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, and Critical Care etc. He is a member of IEEE, AAAI, CCF, CAAI and CSIG.
