Biography:

Dr. YAN Tao is an associate professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan University, China. He received dual Ph.D. degrees in computer science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Dec. 2013 and City University of Hong Kong in Feb. 2014. He once worked as a senior research engineer at baidu map, Baidu Inc.

His research interests inclue computer vision, light field image processing, image restoration and enhancement, target detection and tracking, deep learning and Visual Foundation Models (VFMs). He also focuses on AI for Healthcare and AI for industrial applications and video surveillance.

He has published more than 40 papers on IEEE-TPAMI/TIP/TCSVT/TCI/TFS, IJCV, KBS etc. He has also served as a reviewer for IEEE-TPAMI/TIP/TCSVT/TMM/TVCG/TITS/TCI/TNNLS/TCE/SPL, IJCV, KBS, CVPR, ICCV etc. He is a member of IEEE, CCF, CAAI and CSIG.
