YAN TAO's Biography:

YAN Tao is an associate professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan University, China. He obtained dual Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2013 and the City University of Hong Kong in 2014. He once worked as a senior research engineer at Baidu Map. He is an IEEE Senior Member.

His research interests center on computer vision, including stereo vision, light field, image restoration, object detection, deep learning and vision foundation models. His work also extends to AI for video surveillance, X-ray food inspection, and healthcare. He has authored over 50 papers in premier journals and conferences, including IEEE TPAMI, TIP, TCSVT, TCI, IJCV, TMLR, KBS, ACMMM, AAAI.

He has served as a reviewer for IEEE TPAMI, TIP, TCSVT, TMM, TVCG, TCI, TCE, IJCV, TOMM, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, ACMMM, etc.
